Walkers Try to Stomp Out ALS

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Hundreds put their feet to the street in Allentown on Saturday to defeat ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
The walk was held at Coca-Cola Park, and all the money raised will go toward research and community-based patient service programs for those battling ALS.

It's a progressive motor neuron disease, which causes patients to eventually lose control of all voluntary muscles on their body.
