The Young Friends of The ALS Association is a dynamic group of individuals over 21 years of age who are dedicated to furthering the goals of The ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia Chapter.  This group promotes our mission to a broader network of people, thus adding to our traditional audience, and engages them at a time when they are looking for a “cause” to both volunteer for and support financially.  Young Friends targets adult children and other family members of current and deceased patients, patients over 21, health care providers, vendors and young professionals in the Greater Philadelphia region.  The group is open to those not directly affected by ALS but looking to get involved in a great cause as well.  This membership group and volunteer committee meet quarterly to enjoy happy hours, cultural activities, and sporting events (both fee-based and free) while raising funds and awareness for The ALS Association. 

The Young Friends Group provides a fun and meaningful way for the target audience to get involved and make a difference in the ALS community.  Now, for a one-time $50 membership fee, you will become a lifetime member and receive the following benefits:

• The ALS Association Newsletter
• invitations to special events
• discount at fee-based Young Friends events 
• discount to the ALS Association’s Annual Hot Chocolate event
