The ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia Chapter

Welcome to The ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia Chapter!

Every 90 minutes someone is diagnosed with ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s Disease, a devastating neuromuscular condition for which there is no known cause or cure. The Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the ALS Association provides support and resources for ALS patients, their families, and caregivers living in the eastern half of Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware (view service area). The ALS Association is the only national nonprofit organization dedicated solely to the fight against ALS.

Online Survey for Former Caregivers or Family Members of PALS

In an effort to educate other professionals about the communication needs of people with ALS and their families, The ALS Association is conducting a survey about the communication strategies and difficulties experienced by caregivers and family members while caring for PALS. This is a multi-Chapter effort, and your responses are confidential and will be used ONLY to educate others about the needs of people with ALS and their families. If you are a former caregiver or family member and would like to take the survey, please click here.
